We are Yacht Group Nederland b.v.
Yacht Group Nederland b.v. including its group companies that operate under Yacht Group Nederland (hereinafter collectively referred to as: Yacht or we or us) is located at Diemen, Diemermere 25, zip code 1112 TC, responsible for the processing of your personal data (Controller within the meaning of the GDPR).
why do we collect your personal data
We collect and process your data for events organized for and/or by Yacht including but not limited to events, parties, meetings, clinics, Clipper cruise or sailing, attending (sports) competitions, concerts, dinners, etc. We may also process your information for the purpose of travel to and from the event and overnight stays and/or accommodation if and to the extent applicable.
We process the information;
- with your consent (if you are under 16 years old, we need the consent of your parents or the person with parental responsibility);
- to properly carry out the contract we have agreed with you;
- to fulfill a legal obligation;
- based on a legitimate interest that is consistent with or results from the stated purposes (why do we process personal data), we do this based on careful assessment and balancing of interests;
from whom we collect personal data
We collect personal data from:
(potential) participants of an event.
these can be:
- contact persons of (potential) customers
- (potential) candidates and/or flex workers and/or professionals
- employees working at Yacht Group Netherlands
- guests
- other guests
when do we collect your personal data?
We collect your personal data for example when
- you sign up for an event and you provide us with your data;
- you register as a guest;
- you register for a promotion and an event is part of that promotion;
- you otherwise register or are registered to participate in one of our events.
And if we have not received this directly from you;
- If you are signed up by a participant as an introduction. In that case we assume that the participant has validly passed on your data to us, for example because you have given us your permission to do so.
what personal data do we collect from you?
We process the personal data that is necessary for the events organized for and/or by Yacht and for the travel to and from the event and overnight stays or accommodation if and insofar as applicable. Additional data may be desirable or necessary, for example, to be able to match the service better to your wishes, qualities or availability or to satisfy questions or obligations in respect of the event concerned or additional services such as accommodation and travel. The necessary data are determined and requested for each (type of) event. We only ask you to provide us with information that is accurate and relevant.
In case of registration via social media: you are responsible for personal data and (privacy) settings that are available on/via the internet. Tip: check this regularly and if you do not want information to be available to third parties, screen this well.
More specifically, it concerns - among others - the following personal data:
- name (if required in accordance with passport) and contact information, such as email address and phone number;
- gender (for communication purposes or if otherwise relevant)
- birth data, age (only if necessary, e.g. for booking a trip or classification into appropriate age groups, e.g. for clinics);
- clothing size (e.g. if clothing is made available)
- (playing) level (e.g. in case of a sports event)
- nationality (only if necessary for booking a trip or if required by law)
- type of travel document and number (only if necessary)
- function, company (if relevant)
- contact information for people at home (e.g. in case of emergency)
- dietary requirements
- visual material such as photos and videos - on a voluntary basis
- other data that is or may be relevant to the participation in the event.
guest list:
By registering for the event or for any action that may lead to participation in an event, you consent to the sharing of your name and company name in the form of a guest list with other attendees at the event. If Yacht shares such a guest list with its guests, you will receive the same information from the other attendees.
imagery:
By registering for the event or for an action that may lead to participation in an event, you give permission for the creation of visual material such as photographs. Yacht can use this visual material:
- to share it with the invitees as a souvenir;
- for promotional purposes.
If you object to the sharing of your personal data by means of a guest list and/or the making and/or processing of visual material in which you or your guests are recognizable, you can indicate this via the contact details of the event concerned.
Yacht is only responsible for visual material made by Yacht or commissioned by Yacht. Please note that the provider of the event location may have its own terms and conditions with respect to image and sound material.
how long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data up to 120 days after the event unless we are required by law to keep it for a different period. We may record the information that you participated in the event in your account if there is one. Click here for applicable retention periods. We may keep images for a longer period of time but only a limited number of people can view them.
with whom can we share your personal data
Yacht can share your personal data with the following (categories of) recipients:
- companies that are part of the Randstad N.V. group;
- subcontractors and suppliers (such as data processors) that provide services or carry out assignments on behalf of Yacht. These recipients only have access to the data they need to perform their tasks and are bound by contractual obligations;
- third parties who perform assignments for us, who are involved in the event such as but not limited to the organization of the event or the location where the event takes place;
- travel agency and/or airline or other organization on behalf of your trip, if applicable
- hotel or other organization on behalf of your stay and for booking a related trip if applicable;
- the Rederij Clipper Stad Amsterdam and port authorities (customs), if applicable;
- governmental and other agencies if we believe we are required or entitled to do so.
And in all other cases in which we may be required to do so, for example by a court order or court judgment.
The sharing of personal data is done on the basis of your consent, a legal obligation, legitimate interest and/or for the performance of the agreement in accordance with the purposes mentioned under "Why do we collect your personal data?".
Your personal data may be transferred or stored outside the Netherlands. Yacht has taken the necessary measures to ensure that the personal data transferred is adequately protected. Your personal data may be sent to and processed in one or more countries within or outside the European Union. We will only transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU of which the European Commission is of the opinion that you have an adequate degree of protection there or where Yacht or its group companies or the recipients have taken appropriate security measures to safeguard the privacy of your data. your rights
You have the right to make a request for;
- access to the personal data we process about you;
- rectification of your personal data;
- deletion of your personal data or restriction of processing: in certain circumstances, unless we have a good reason, such as a legal obligation, to process or not delete the personal data;
- restriction of or an objection about the processing of the personal data;
- transfer of your data.
In the event of your request, in order to protect personal data, we will need to be able to establish your identity.
We do not use automated decision making based solely on automated processing including profiling.
If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. However, the withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing based on your prior consent before we have received such withdrawal or in the event that further processing of the same data has continued on another basis, such as an agreement or legal obligation of Yacht.
Below is how you can withdraw your consent;
- If you have signed up to receive information about events or for an event itself or for a promotion that may lead to an event, you can opt out wherever you have signed up or registered or via the contact details provided with the relevant event or with the information about the promotion or event;
If you want to change or remove data that you cannot change yourself, you can also contact us via the contact data mentioned with the event or information.
questions, comments, complaints or (suspected) data breach
If you have any questions, please contact us using the contact details provided with the event or information about the action or event.
If you have questions, comments or complaints about the protection of your personal data by Yacht, please contact the privacy team and data protection officer via privacy@randstadgroep.nl. If you have complaints we would like to hear from you so that we can help you further and if necessary adjust/improve our service/work processes. You have the right to file a complaint about the processing of your personal data with the Authority for Personal Data.
If there is a (suspected) data leak, for example, you suspect loss or unauthorized access to personal data, please let us know immediately. You can report this via datalek@randstadgroep.nl.
security
Yacht makes every effort to optimally protect your personal data. We do this on the basis of our information security policy. We have taken physical, administrative, organizational and technical measures to prevent unlawful use, taking into account the latest technology. These measures are regularly evaluated and updated where necessary.
If and insofar as data is provided to data processors that provide services or execute orders on its behalf, Yacht has agreed with them that they will also optimally secure the personal data.
You should be aware that you yourself are responsible for the security of your computer equipment and/or telephone and your own internet connection and that it is never 100% secure. Sending personal data via the Internet is therefore done at your own risk. You are also responsible for the (privacy) settings of social media platforms.
changes
Yacht can make changes, additions or amendments to its Events Privacy Statement from time to time for various reasons. The most current Privacy Statement can be viewed in the communication of the event concerned. We encourage you to review the Privacy Statement regularly. This version was prepared in April 2019.
